Appearance Description: Daylilies have long and slender leaves with varying shades of green. There are normally 3 petals per flower with noticeable stamen. Daylilies come in yellow, pink, orange, red, white, purple, and multicolored. They grow up to 6-feet tall and up to 6-inches wide depending on the variety.
How to Plant:
1. Loosen the soil with a trowel and hand shovel.
2. Mix a compost or manure into the native soil.
3. Dig shallow holes about 16-24 inches apart.
4. Place plant so the bulb or root system is 1-inch below ground level.
5. Fill the remaining space with amended soil.
